Roger
P. (Pat) Herbert - Chairman
of the Board, was elected to
the Board at the 2005 Annual Meeting held June
6, 2005. He has worked in the energy services
business for nearly 30 years. He is currently
serving as a Director and CEO for JDR Cable
Systems (Holdings) Ltd – a position he
has held since July 2002. Prior to that, he
was the Chairman and CEO of GeoNet Energy Services,
a company he founded in September 2000. Prior
to that Mr. Herbert had worked with International
Energy Services, Baker Hughes and Smith International.
Mr. Herbert has served on the board as audit
committee chairman for Scorpion Offshore, a
publicly traded Norwegian energy services company
since August 2007. Herbert received his M.B.A.
from Pepperdine University, his B.S.E. from
California State University-Northridge and
is a registered professional engineer in the
State of Texas.
Michael L. Peterson,
began serving as a director in May 2008. He has
enjoyed a successful career in the securities
industry in various capacities, including the
last four years as a private investor and venture
capitalist. He is currently founder and managing
partner of California-based, Pascal Management.
In 2005, he co-founded and became a managing
partner of American International Partners, a
venture investment fund based in Salt Lake City.
Prior to that he served for four years as a First
Vice President at Merrill Lynch where he helped
establish a new private client services division
to work exclusively with high net worth investors.
For a majority of his career, he was employed
by Goldman Sachs & Co. as a Vice President
with the responsibility for a team of professionals
that advised and managed over $7 billion in assets.
Mr. Peterson received his MBA at the Marriott
School of Management and a BS from Brigham Young
University.
